At Chausie Rescue our goal is to rescue abused, abandoned and homeless Chausie and Chausie/mix cats, and place them in permanent homes as quickly as possible. There are times when foster homes are used, where they are cared for until such time that a forever home can be found for them.

Since we do not always have the advantage of knowing where the cat originally came from determination of origin of the cats is based on their appearance and personality.

The Chausie Rescue Group does not propose to know the parentage of cats listed and, by way of this statement, we are informing potential adopters that we cannot and will not assure that the parentage of any cat that we do not have the registration papers for.
